Controls and Selection
To begin forming a word, click or tap any letter tile in the grid. Then select adjacent tiles one by one to extend your word. Adjacent means horizontally, vertically, or diagonally neighboring the last selected tile. Selected tiles highlight in green so you can track your path. If you make a mistake, press Clear to reset your selection and try again. When you have spelled a complete word from the list, press Submit or hit Enter to confirm it. Correctly found words are marked off the word list and the tiles used become highlighted on the grid.
Timer and Scoring
Each puzzle comes with a 120-second countdown timer. Your score increases for every word you find, with longer words worth more points. Three-letter words score 100 points, four-letter words score 200, five-letter words score 400, and words of six or more letters are worth 800 points each. If you manage to find every word before the timer runs out, you receive a time bonus equal to the remaining seconds multiplied by 10.
